What a fantastic visit we had from Jimmy Warnock (Farmer Jim) today who shared his passion for farming and everything that agricultural life involves!
He explained the milk process, the commands that a sheepdog needs when moving sheep around the fields and some of the crops that can be grown on farms ... to name but a few!
The children had some excellent questions and it was great to see the variety of jobs that agricultural colleges can offer.
A huge thank you to Jimmy for taking time out of his day to share the work he does on his own farm, with RHET, the Highland Show and his genuine passion for farming!
