This week has been such a success across the school and in P3. We have performed our class song, Donald where's your troosers? We had lots of boys and girls practising our Scots poem, Crocodile- well done to ALL and well done to the two worthy winners, Rowan and Anna.

We have been learning Scots language and using it to create our own rhyming poems, we've had Scots stories, been learning about famous Scots and we've even baked a classic Scottish snack, shortbread.

I think the highlight for most this week was our P 3 and 4 Ceilidh. The boys and girls looked so smart, had so much fun and danced their wee hearts oot. We had some shortbread (by our own fair hands) and some oatcakes lovingly made by P4 all washed down with some Irn Bru!

What a week! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I asked what the kids' fav part of the week was...

Thomas: Drinking Irn Bru!
Brody: Writing my own Scots poem.
Anna & Brodie: learning the crocodile 🐊
Emma S: The Ceilidh!
Zack: The Scottish party!
Oscar & Aiden: Donald where's your troosers?
