Primary 6 had a lot of learning about Scots and Scotland itself this week which linked to our celebrations around Burns Day!
This week, as part of writing, Primary 6 were set the task of creating their own poem in Scots! The children were provided with examples of different Scots words, reminded how to structure their poems and watched a video to assist them in their writing.
I cannot begin to tell you all how much I loved reading the poems that were uploaded. It was clear the children had put a huge amount of effort into these. Some made me laugh and some made me cry but what a joy they all were to read!
I've attached some examples of just a few of my favourites but there were so many to choose from!
What fantastic online efforts again from you all Primary 6. I know this is a challenging time for us all at the moment but these poems most certainly made me smile.
Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to hearing from you all on Monday. Have a fabulous weekend, Miss Dalgliesh.
Amazing efforts online in P6!
