We have been talking about bullying and the consequences of bullying, and how it can make people feel. On Wednesday we watched a short film called "for the birds" and talked about how our actions can make others feel. We all agreed that we should always BE KIND. We designed lovely wristbands to remind us 🥰
Today we read the story 'Ridiculous!' and discussed how our words can effect people if we don't choose them carefully. We all had a red card and whenever we heard something we thought was unkind, we showed it the unkindness the "red card". As it is book we too, we reinvented the book "ridiculous!" by calling it a more positive name, like "cool", "amazing" and "brave" to describe the main character, Shelley the tortoise. 🐢
