This morning during our Attachment Ambassador PLT meeting we spent time looking at our display board and the information that it conveys. We noticed features including our Action Plan, evidence of progress so far, pupil voice, skills and attachment graphics and linked Global Goal. We revisited the space that we are developing into a Quiet Space within the school, sharing ideas and discussing potential problems that we need to overcome e.g. the lighting.
Our task was centred around being a Successful Learner, within Digital Technology and the skill of using ICT software. Pupils navigated a website to source products for us to purchase. The Success Criteria was:

Stage 1
I can use a search engine (with support).
Stage 2
I can independently navigate a website to source information.
Stage 3
I can use technology to source and record information.
Stage 4
I can use technology to source, record and share information.

New Skills Passports were introduced as a means of assessment and reflection, with pupils being able to self-assess the stage they felt they demonstrated today. Pupils were able to discuss this and consider their next steps to achieve the next stage.

Mrs Griffiths, Mrs Whyte and Mrs Smith were incredibly impressed with the Attachment Ambassadors as they displayed a range of skills in ICT including sharing information via email and AirDrop. We are excited to continue to work on the development of the space using all of the fantastic pupil ideas. A superb morning with everyone so engaged in the activities and contributing to this aspect of our pupil school improvement journey.
