As part of the health and wellbeing curriculum, we are delighted to announce that we have author, Chris Duke, visiting our school to talk about his book, “Lucy’s Blue Day”.
The book is written to help children understand their emotions, and to encourage mental health awareness.
It is accessible for all ages in Primary School and there is also a diary version, which is more suited towards the upper years – early teens.
Chris will be talking about the book at a school assembly on Tuesday 26th November and doing a book signing on the day.
The author has informed us that you can pre-order your copy online at www.lucysblueday.com and receive a 20% discount using the code FORTH and this offer will be available until 25th November. Please enter your child’s name at the checkout to ensure we get it to the right person. Select “author visit” at the delivery option, and Chris will bring them on the day – these orders are not posted!
