As part of Book Week Scotland next week (18th – 24th November) the school captains alongside their classmates in P7 have organised a book swap event for all pupils to take part in.

The captains have been working to sort out class libraries, the school library and books that have kindly been donated to the school. As a result, they have a selection of books that have still to be allocated to classes. Primary 7 are inviting all classes to come along on Tuesday next week to either choose some books for their class library or swap one of their own books for one from our selection.

If your child has a book or books at home that they would like to get donate/swap and you wish them to do so please can they bring them in to school on Tuesday the 19th of November when they will be able to swap their old book for a book from the school selection to take home with them and keep.

This will mean your child should have something new to read at home, and their old books can be used by children across the school. If you do not wish you child to take part or if your child does not have any books at home to swap, do not worry as they will be able to select a book to add to their class library.

Many thanks,
Primary 7 and Mrs Bell
