The count down to Christmas has begun in Primary 2/3!

We have still been taking part in lots of learning including word problems in numeracy and learning more about adjectives in literacy!

"If I see more than I will know it's an addition calculation" - Zoey

"I described the puppy as fluffy and the butterfly as blue" - Callie

"I described the sunset as red" - Sophia

On Wednesday we had a go at weaving using straws and wool, linking into our Robert Owen topic. This has been a bit tricky but Miss Haverstock is very proud of all the boys and girls for giving it a go and trying their hardest! We also got to look at some wool that was made in New Lanark and a slate tile which would have been similar to those used in the school in New Lanark at that time.

"They would have used the slate instead of paper" - Charlie

"They would have written on the slate with chalk" - Andrew
