Last week we all had great fun creating our own school values superheroes.  We have been looking at the school values the last few weeks and we  decided that we can show them and help others to recognise them in a fun way.

"My Superhero is called Trusta, she is from China and likes to help people learn about trust all over the World. " Poppy

"Mine helps people to show them how to trust others and tells them that showing trust can bring trust. She is called the Trust Queen."  Amy-lee

"My Superhero is called Robotic Respect. He uses his metal antenna to pick up when people are not being respectful and he uses his jet pack to get to them quickly and tell them how to be more respectful."  Curtis

"My superhero is called Captain Endeavour and if he hears anyone nearly giving up he uses his rocket boots to get to them quickly and tell them to not give up and to try their best."  Zac

"My superhero is Commander Confidence and he uses the powers from his magical staff to give people confidence when they don't have any."  Alistair

This week we have been reading more of our class novel 'There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom'  .
"The book is funny because Bradley tells some crazy lies like he eats dog food and that he was eating a banana when it was actually an apple." Aiden
The book is about a boy called Bradley Chalkers who is always getting into trouble and has no friends at school.  A new boy called Jeff comes to the school and is kind to him.
"I think that Jeff is a good influence on Bradley because he is showing him how to be a friend to someone." Georgie

We also used part of the story to focus on our grammar for the day, we had to pick out proper nouns, nouns, verbs, adjectives and pronouns from the text.

We used a comic strip layout to summarise the main events from Chapter 10.
