We have had such a fun and informative week thinking about jobs that we could do when we are older.

On Monday we had a visit from Mark the Fireman 👨‍🚒 did you know that in an emergency you call 999 but if you call 911 it will work too!?

On Tuesday we met Jimmy the Farmer. He told us that you can make £2100 a week from shearing sheep! 🐑

On Wednesday we had a talk from Josh the policeman. He arrested Miss Gallagher and let us all have a shot in his police car. We learned that there are lots of different jobs in the police, like being a community officer or a detective 🕵️‍♂️ 👮‍♀️

On Friday we had a visit from Mrs Elms and Boyd 🐶. She showed us some X-rays of dogs who had eaten some silly things and some of us got to hear Boyd's heart beat using a stethoscope.

Lastly, Mrs Mills the Science Teacher 👩🏼‍🏫 brought her van de graaff generator (sorry if I spelled that wrong Mrs Mills!) She told us it takes 5 years to study to become a science teacher but it's a very fun job!

We were very lucky to meet all these great people in some wonderful professions. It got us thinking about what we'd like to to when we grow up...
