Today in P1 we enjoyed celebrating Diabetes Awareness Day.
We listened to a cool story about Pip the Penguin and how he deals with his Type 1 Diabetes. After our special assembly we created some fun, colourful plaster designs that are used for covering and securing sensors and tubes. We also enjoyed some relaxing colouring and play doh stampers fun.
A busy fun filled day with lots of learning, gaining skills and knowledge that will help us be more aware of diabetes in the world around us.
