This week, P6 have been looking into Fairtrade and what it means for farmers! The children already had some prior knowledge which was great to see and we developed this further, researching different fairtrade foods/products! Some the children already knew of but there were lots of other products that we didn't know were fairtrade!
We researched the different countries that benefit from Fairtrade understanding that the farmers are provided with better working conditions, paid a fair price and money is also provided to help support projects in the community!
I continue to be overwhelmed with the knowledge and kindness that P6 have shown! I truly am the luckiest teacher. Enjoy your weekend primary 6 - you deserve it!
