P3/4 have started learning about fractions in Numeracy this week. We have started off with halves and quarters. Even though fractions can be quite tricky, P3/4 showed that fractions are all around us. They were making me jealous of all of their lovely snacks and lunches, showing me their quartered fruit and half of their sandwiches.
Miss Gallagher is very impressed and looking forward to doing some work on thirds, fifths and tenths next week.
