We have had a wonderful week learning all about the different ways to keep ourselves healthy.

On Mindfulness Monday we learned about the importance of taking time out and relaxing. P1 enjoyed a Cosmic Yoga Zen Den session and some mindfulness colouring.ย 

On Teamwork Tuesday the boys and girls worked with partners and in groups to explore capacity. Then they created some team art with Mrs Hall.ย  They had to listen carefully to thier friends and take turns.ย 

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹Wellbeing Wednesday provided us with a chance to talk about making healthy choices with food. We looked at the eat well plate and talked about the importance of a balanced diet. We then had a go at creating our own healthy eating picnic.ย 

We had our thinking hats on on Thinking Thursday as we thought about being safe near the roads.

On Fitness Friday we were outside trying to count how many star jumps, hops etc we could manage in 1 min bursts.ย 

We round up the week by making posters to share our learning the about everything we have learned about how we can stay healthy.ย
