As we approach the February long weekend (school will return online from Thursday 11th February), I am keen to acknowlegde all the efforts and hard work that has taken place over the last 4 weeks of remote learning.

There is no doubt that it has been a challenging time. With everyone in lockdown and learning/working from home, it has taken patience and perseverance. Parents and children have done incredibly well. The introductions of 'live' interactions with teachers as well as the regular feedback given to the children has been greatly appreciated.

Teachers and Early Years staff have done extremely well implementing learning online and I want to recognise the creativity, skill and hard work that this has involved. The number of e-mails, phonecalls and support given to families throughout has also been well received. Please remember there is an online support form that you can complete if you need any kind of support or help.

We all look forward to the time when we can have all our children back safely, hopefully this will be soon.

I would encourage families and staff to take the opportunity to step back from the screen and technology over the long weekend and have some well deserved rest, you sure have earned it.

Best wishes,

Mrs Wood
