School staff will be ready to welcome children tomorrow for emergency childcare. Please read the following information below very carefully. Any further questions or concerns can be discussed with staff tomorrow. 

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP - CAR PARK REMAINS CLOSED TO PARENTS & CARERS AS PER A NORMAL SCHOOL DAY
  • All pupils, who have already received confirmation of a place from school, attending for Emergency Childcare should come to canteen entrance between 8.50-9.00am.
  • Parents/carers dropping off and collecting children must wear a face covering. Only one adult should attend.
  • Parents/carers MUST maintain 2m social distancing at all times within and outwith school grounds. 
  • We ask people are patient and wait their turn to drop of your child/children.
  • Pupils must be collected by an adult between 2.50 & 3.00pm from the canteen entrance. 

SUITABLE CLOTHING -
  • Pupils can wear suitable casual clothes and/or waterproof as, weather permitting, some time will be spent outdoors.
  • We will ask children to bring a change of shoes for indoors, especially due to the current weather.

 ACTIVITIES
On Thursday 7 & Friday 8 January, pupils will take part in a variety of activities supervised by school staff.  Please leave all toys safely at home. 

SNACK & WATER BOTTLES
A break time snack should be brought to school. Please send children to school with a full water bottle. These can be topped up during the day.

LUNCH TIME 
All children will have a break and lunchtime. In order to maintain distancing between each group, each child will be allocated a seat at lunch time. Those eligible for free school meals can be provided with a school lunch (all Nursery and P1-3 children are eligible for this). Others opting for a school lunch should pay on ParentPay as normal. Alternatively, packed lunches can be brought from home. This week will be Week 1 of the normal menu. 

Please note* Parents/carers must inform the school immediately if their child or another family member is displaying symptoms of Covid-19. They must not attend school. If a pupil or staff member becomes unwell during the school day they will be isolated until such time as they can safely return home. A Covid-19 test should be booked immediately to ensure compliance with Scottish Government Test and Protect.
