Primary 7 have been so incredibly busy since returning to school for 2024.
Our Sidekick groups have been a massive success and P2 have thoroughly enjoyed playing the games that P7 have organised and planned for them. Primary 7 look forward to continuing their lunchtime club with P1 after the spring break.
In maths, we have started learning about fractions, decimals and percentages. We have explored the link between them using a variety of practical and hands-on resources.
In ICT, P7 have been learning how to generate formulae to calculate totals and multiples of amounts. We linked this to our topic of money and looked at how we can use our new skills when budgeting.
We finished our science topic of 'Forces' and wrote informative pieces to share our learning. Primary 4 became our audience and listened as we shared our writing. P7 then asked their buddies questions to assess their understanding.
Overall, we have had a fantastic few weeks and we are excited for the new learning that is still to come!
