Primary 1/2 have been exploring and learning all about materials and their properties. In particular, we have been learning about the difference between solids, liquids and gases.
Today we made oobleck (or gloop) by mixing water with cornflour and food colouring. We discovered that when it is still, it is liquid, but when you touch it, it becomes a solid.
We had so much fun playing with the gloop that Miss Clowes forgot to take pictures of us with it in our hands (sorry for any blue stained hands!).
