A huge well done to Primary 5 for a fabulous assemby this morning. Your singing, dancing and drama, all about friendship, has reinforced our school values and reminded all the boys and girls the importance of being a good friend. You certainly gave us all the Friday feeling! Thank you to the parents and carers who came along, it was lovely to have such a big audience, we hope you enjoyed it.
I have been visiting the nursery this morning, carrying out a standards and quality observation visit. I was incredibly impressed at the high levels of engagement and concentration our children had at a wide range of quality experiences and opportunities. Our nursery team are being highly responsive to the interests of the children and it is so encouraging to see the progress, creativity, problem solving and skills development of our youngest learners.
Thank you in advance to Miss Gordon, Miss Dunlop and Miss Gordon's Mum who are accompanying a group to the theatre in Motherwell tomorrow. I believe the show is fantasic and they are in for an absolute treat.
