Nursery

This is what the nursery children have been playing with, learning about and exploring in the following areas.

Literacy: We explored the story of Goldilocks and the three bear, discussing and sharing our favourite characters and events in the story.

Maths/STEM: We have learned about 2D shapes this week, we explored our playroom and school discovering shapes within our learning environment. We continue to develop our knowledge of shape.

Creative: Creativity mark making through a variety of materials. Using chalk, water and paint brushes, paint bags and whiteboards.

Outdoors: Applying balancing skills using the climbing frame. Developing confidence and safety whilst using the wheeled toys. Exploring mud kitchen- having a pudsey tea party.

Construction/Small World: We have been exploring and discovering different building materials using the Three little pigs storybook, incorporating Scottish book week.
