Well, what a jam packed month (and a bit) of learning Primary 7 have had.
In maths, we have been learning about place value, rounding, estimating and a variety of addition and subtraction strategies.
In literacy, we continue to work through our class novel and group reading novels whilst using our reading strategies to develop skills to enhance our understanding and fluency.
Our science topic is 'Space', and we have been working super hard to arrange and present our learning for our class assembly. We can't wait to show you what we've learned!
For health and well-being, we have been developing skills in athletics and badminton. We have also harvested produce from our poly tunnel and subsequently learned how to be safe when using various kitchen utensils to prepare food.
Here is what we have to say about P7 so far:
Amy Lee - I’ve enjoyed spending time with my class, Mrs Whyte and Miss Duffin.
Ethan - Badminton has been great! I have learned how to use a shuttlecock and keep it in the air during a rally using my racket.
Aiden - We have brain breaks in P7. They are fun problem solving challenges that help our brains grow and get us to work together. I love them!
Aaron - I’ve learned how to make dips, potato salad and salsa and how to do it safely!
