P1 have been learning about why we have Remembrance Day and also about the significance of the poppy.
We learned macaton signs for soldier, remember and poppy (red flower). Why not ask one of our P1s and see if they can show you thier signs?
P1 also studied pictures of poppies and recreated them using loose parts and collage materials.
The p1 boys and girls made Mrs Andrews very proud as they showed respect, sitting quietly during our 2 min silence and after when listening to the Last Post. Well done P1.
