The children of P4/5 have had yet another great week. They have been busy perfecting their skills in place value, rounding and estimating.
In IDL they have been learning lots of interesting facts about Spain and comparing these with the UK.
In science they have continued to learn about sound. They investigated and found out that sound can travel through lots of different materials. An interesting fact they discovered is that sound travels quicker through a solid and slowest through a gas, like air. Very surprising!
They have also thoroughly enjoyed our novel,'The boy in the dress' this week. It had some really funny parts and they can't wait until next week to see how it ends!
