P4/5 have had a great, busy week back.
Their work and attitude have impressed both Mrs Hutchinson and Mrs Roberts and it's like they've never been away!
As well as some revision of key skills and knowledge, they have also been learning new things from multiplication of 10, 100 and 1000 and finding perimeter,  to propositions and coding - using algorithms and debugging.
At the start of the week they spoke about their lockdown emotions and created different emotion monsters.
By the end of the week they were involved in lots of science, technology and engineering as part of Science week. They were challenged to build the highest newspaper tower, make the longest paper chain with only one sheet of paper, create an invention for the future and make an aeroplane or glider that would fly the furthest. By working as a team they produced amazing results.
Roll on next week for more exciting challenges ahead!
