P4/5

P4/5 have been busy in Science again this week.This term we have been looking at all the different systems in our bodies and over the past few weeks have concentrated on the digestive system. 
The facts we found were amazing and we used these to write fantastic and very informative explanation pieces of writing. 
Did you know that the digestive system is one of the most important in our bodies? 
We discovered that the small intestine is between 22 and 25 feet long! That's the length of our classroom! 
The large intestine is 5 feet long and is called the large intestine because it is wider than the small intestine.
