Primary 5 have had a fun couple of weeks!
Primary 5 enjoyed learning all about the tempo of music and using a metronome to measure the speed of beats in different songs. They also learned some Italian and have recently discovered their love for classical music! Through this they learned this skills of creativity, working with others and listening.
We have been developing our numeracy skills by learning all about time. P5 enjoy working together when playing time games.
For the Burns celebration last week, P5 tasted some traditional Scottish foods, from haggis, neeps and tatties to shortbread and Irn-Bru. Eventhough not everyone liked the taste of some of the food, they all gave it a go! Through this they learned the skills of curiousity and resilience.
Finally, an item belonging to a famous Forth man shocked some of our class! Primary 5 were amazed by his shoe and loved hearing the history behind it. Through this they learned the skills of curiousity and listening.
Have a great weekend!
