Primary 5 enjoyed their morning visiting a local farm and learned lots about farming and the work a farmer has to do every day.

They got a tour of Sandilands Farm and saw things such as cows, calves, sheep being rounded up by Dusky the sheep dog and they even got to sit on the farmer's tractor and quadbike!

It was a fantastic experience and we definitely learned lots of new things about farming.

Thank you to farmer James, his wife and Kris at RHET for helping organise our trip. We had a great time!
