Primary 6 have been taking part in activities to celebrate European Day of Languages which started in 2001 and is celebrated on the 26th of September each year.
They used their research skills to find out interesting facts about a country. They then found out how to say and spell colours in Spanish, German, French and Italian. They discovered that some colours are very similar in different countries. After that they used their atlas skills to find out the locations of different countries on a map of Europe. They had a very busy and productive day as you can see!
