As part of STEM week our class has concentrated on TECHNOLOGY.
We spent the day on Wednesday introducing other classes to coding on the computers and I pads.
Computer code is a set of rules or instructions. We call these algorithms. These be made up of words and numbers and when you put them in the right order it will tell your computer what you want it to do. You can programme lots of things with code.
We also taught the children how to debug once they had made a mistake so that the programme would work.
We thoroughly enjoyed being teachers for the day and the other classes said that they enjoyed what we showed them and that they learned a lot from it.
