Primary 6 have got Fairtrade Fortnight off to a flying start! Yesterday, we learnt about how climate change is impacting Fairtrade farmers in the amount of coffee/cocoa that they can produce. This linked us into a discussion about what Fairtrade is. We discussed our love for chocolate and the huge journey it goes on before it reaches us.
We then worked in pairs to order the stages of cocoa, researching where we needed to! Some of us even managed to start designing posters to help promote Fairtrade.
