The P6 Playground Team wish to improve/extend provisions outside to keep pupils entertained, inspired and engaged by offering more choice and different activities. The group have decided to start small and provide some toys to use outdoors at lunchtimes and breaks.
Thinking about our environment they felt it would be beneficial to see what we could reuse before buying anything new.
This is where they need your help! If you are having a wee spring clear out we would be grateful for any donations of the items below. You'll appreciate that donations should be of reasonable quality, be age appropriate and not broken or unsafe in anyway.
Can we kindly ask that you only donate the items listed below for now. If you have any other ideas/items to suggest then please let us know and we can put forward ideas at the playground team meetings. There is a suggestion box at the front entrance for all ideas and suggestions.
The group are looking for donations of:
⭐small plastic figures, animals etc
⭐small plastic/metal/wooden cars (no remote controlled please)
⭐small plastic dolls ( no soft bodied please as they will be used outside)
⭐colouring books, notebooks, paper and clipboards
⭐pens/crayons for colouring (no permanent inks please)
⭐️construction items like lego or stickle bricks
If you have anything to donate there will be boxes located at the front entrance inside the main front door, the nursery cloakroom and one in the school for pupils to drop off items.
