P6 have had another full-on week of learning! All the children continue to work tremendously hard and I am very proud of them all!
This week in Science, we learnt that burning is an irreversible change as new materials are produced e.g. smoke, ash, gas etc. In Numeracy, we have been continuing to develop our strategies to help us understand how to subtract mentally as well as using the written method. In writing, we up-levelled our spooky stories from last week and Miss Dalgliesh has had some pretty scary dreams as a result, but they all made for fantastic reading! We also enjoyed learning about Guy Fawkes and 'The Gunpowder Plot' this week, researching the answers to crossword questions on the i-pads! All the children loved to share how super their parents, grandparents and guardians are at crosswords too!
Another fantastic week of learning and another well deserved weekend P6!
