Primary 6 had a fantastic workshop from Heather who works for SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health).
We explored the 5 ways to better wellbeing and engaged in various activities to help build on these. Children had lots of time to practise a variety of skills including; giving and receiving information, encouraging and respecting others all whilst learning about the 5 ways to better wellbeing.
As we all know, without good mental health it is so difficult for us to learn new skills in class, develop/maintain relationships or manage our time effectively. This is why ensuring good mental health and ways to improve our wellbeing are so vital. A huge thank you to Heather for coming out to visit Forth today. We loved having you.
