Today, Primary 3 visited Amazonia where we met the Keeper of the Zoo. He showed us around all the different animals. We saw tarantulas, butterflys, bats, ants, Macaws and lots more. Some animals weren't in enclosures and landed on and around us. After this we went to the nocturnal area where we had to be very quiet so we didn't scare the animals. Then we went into the handling area where we got to hold Shelly, the tortoise and Wallie, the Royal Python. We held the exoskeleton of a tarantula and a millipede.
We then played a game in the interactive room. We had a great time!
