Primary 3 have had a fantastic few days celebrating World Book Day. We have focused on learning about different things related to Harry Potter.
We watched a clip from Harry Potter about friendship. We discovered that Draco Malfoy is not a good friend and decided to create a potion which would transform him into a better friend.
We also discovered that there is a magical mirror at Hogwarts which shows you what you want to achieve. We wrote about what the Mirror of Erisad would show if we were to look in it and used this to set our own goals for the rest of this year.
We also made wands and used these to enchant our very own potions. We spend this afternoon making Unicorn Tears, Goblin Snot, Dragon Snot and a Friendship Fizz potion.
We are going to write instructions on how to make these next week as part of our formal writing.
We have done lots this World Book Day to celebrate our love for reading!
