Primary 3 were working so hard today after their February break! This morning, we read 'The Gruffalo' together and tried to find lots of different, matching rhyming words.

We revised how we can identify rhyming words. We now know that rhyming words end in the same sound and we are going to keep practising rhyming and rhyming games in class to help us as some rhyming words can be really tricky.

We also used the descriptions in 'The Gruffalo' to help us draw our very own Gruffalo and wrote sentences about key aspects of the Gruffalo e.g. "He has turned out toes and a poisonous wart at the end of his nose!"

Such a lot of fantastic work Primary 3! As always, I am so very proud of you all. What superstars!
