In Primary 4 this week we started our class novel Billionaire Boy by David Walliams. We made new front covers for the book thinking carefully about adding lots of detail in the drawing and including the title, blurb, author, illustrator and a spine.

Using the reading strategy visualisation, we drew the main character Joe Spud and thought of adjectives to describe him.
  • Lonely, greedy, sad, angry, ungrateful and spoiled. Michael
  • Lonely because he has no friends, not even one. Ernestas
  • Sad because on his birthday he crashed his car. Frankie
We also enjoyed using the new reading area and reading nooks outside our classroom.

Other Class Highlights

On Monday we did PE in the MUGA and on Friday we used the gym hall. Using the gym hall for the first time in a very long time made us feel happy and excited. We played really fun games, a couple of our favourites being Shark Attack, The Floor is Lava and 21.
