We have been very busy in Primary 4 celebrating Scottish Maths Week. We have explored shape, symmetry and shared our learning with Primary 2.

To extend our shape learning we created artwork inspired by abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. We chose from a range of media including watercolours, chalks, crayons, paints and colouring pens to make our creations. We listened to music by Wagner as we worked, just like Kandinsky used to. We think that our finished masterpieces look super displayed outside our classroom.

I used watercolours and chalks and drew pentagons, squares, rectangles and other 2D shapes. Oliver
