Our priorities this week....

Primary 7 transition
- Saying a fond farewell to all our Primary 7 pupils as they prepare to attend carluke High School and Lanark Grammar. The P7 pupils will have the opportunity to celebrate socially togather once lockdown is lifted. Further info to come after the holidays and when it is safe to arrange a gathering.

Carluke High School  - Carluke High School have sent an important letter. Please see separate item under the news section.

Nursery Preparations - Guidance is to be finalised to confirm details for nursery arrangements for August. As soon as we are informed by South Lanarkshire Council, we will update nursery parents and carers.

Recovery planning - All class teachers and the nursery team, will be attending 2 days of collegiate recovery planning on Monday and Tuesday. You will appreciate that this will mean they may only be able to check into teams/learning journals occasionally as they will be in planning and recovery meetings with Mrs Wood and Mr Thomson.

Resources - We thanks office staff and support staff as they are working hard to prepare resources for the school re-opening. All children will have individual resources, with their names on, that will not be shared. We ask that pencil cases are kept at home for home learning in August.

Home learning - It will be the last 2 and a half days for the children before holidays officially start on Wednesday at 1 o'clock. Teams will then closed for summer. As the start of the new session, there will be a full guide sent our regarding the new blended learning model.

School meals

A reminder that all pupils in Primary 1-3 are entitled to a free school meal. For all other classes, please note the cost in August will be £1.75. The new menu has been posted in the news section.
