Yesterday as we all observed the 2 minute silence for Remembrance Day, P3/4 learned a little bit about why we have Poppy Day. We talked about what it means to us and the children were so mature and respectful.
We ended a lovely discussion with the poem 'In Flanders Fields' by John McRae and then the children painted water coloured poppies onto thier own copy of the poem.
Well done boys and girls, they look amazing!
