Information to confirm that as of Monday Nursery to Primary 3 will resume normal procedures. We are really looking forward to welcoming the children back.
A few reminders -
CAR PARK
The staff park remains CLOSED to all parents and carers, except BLUE BADGE HOLDERS, this has not changed. We ask you to respect this and park and stride. We appreciate your co-operation.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
All families are expected to wear masks and socially distance (at least 2m) from each other at drop off and pick up. We ask you do not arrive too early. SLT will be there to open the main gate for P2/3 & P3 and P1 & P/2 Class Teachers will meet siblings and these classes in the MUGA as set out in the overview previously posted. We would ask that if you require to speak to a class teacher you call the office and they will ask your child's teacher to contact you.
UNIFORM
We request that all children, including in the Emergency in school provision for Key Workers and identified families wear uniform too. Children will be spending considerable time outdoors and therefore should dress appropriately and wear warm, waterproof footwear. *Children can wear PE clothes on PE days as set out below.
INDOOR SHOES / WATER BOTTLES
We encourage the children to bring a change of shoes for indoors and bring a water bottle each day.
PUPIL'S BELONGINGS
We ask that items are not brought in from home. Each child has an individual learning pack with all the resources they need. This supports sharing of resources and reducing possible spread of COVID-19.
PE DAYS
As instructed by Scottish Government PE will continue to take place outdoors in the MUGA. We are looking forward to the nicer weather coming as spring approaches.
P1 - Wednesday & Friday
P1/2 - Monday & Wednesday
P2/3 - Monday & Wednesday
P3 - Tuesday & Thursday
HUB CHILDREN should be prepared for outdoors every day and will have PE on Tuesday & Thursday
SCHOOL LUNCHES
No change to the normal routine. Next week will be MENU WEEK – 2
TRANSPORT
School transport will run as normal.
