Scottish Book Week Fun

​​​​​P1 have had great fun exploring their Bookbug Book Bags. These are full of great stories and activities. Having a full class set of great books is just too great an opportunity to miss out on, so this week we have been exploring the books together and using them as our class reading books.  The children have loved them❤️! They have been locating common words that they know and using picture clues and phonics knowledge to read the other words.

Also this week they have listened to part of the story 'Cakes in Space' via an Authors Live link with Miss Gordon. They went on to explore what they may see in space.  Miss Gordon was very impressed with their imagination and the aliens drawn by the boys and girls as they showed great creativity. 👽Well done P1 🤩!
