Primary 7 have continued their leadership skills with their Primary 1 buddies into Term 3 by supporting them in a number of activities linked to our Scottish learning focus.
We shared in the experience of making our own short bread and used various skills including numeracy, teamwork and communication to do this. Primary 7 then linked their new knowledge into writing their own instructions on how to make shortbread. The standard of writing produced was absolutely fantastic!
To conclude our Scottish learning together, both classes took part in food tasting where they got to sample haggis, oat cakes, cheese, caramel wafers, tea cakes, shortbread and washed it all down, of course, with some Irn Bru!
A huge thank you to the ladies in the canteen for helping prepare the food for us.
