Primary 2, 3 and 5 all had a great time today sampling some Scottish food. There was haggis, neeps and tatties on the menu, as well as oatcakes and cheese, Scottish fudge, shortbread and some Irn Bru.
There were mixed reactions to various things, but the mashed tatties certainly went down a treat!
The classes split into their houses to work together. As well as food tasting there was also Scottish colouring and programmes to watch as they waited for their chance to sample the goodies!
As a 'well done and thank you' for creating some wonderful water melon sculptures, pupils also enjoyed a little ice cream treat. Lots of happy faces and full tummies today 😁
