P1 spent the morning creating sentences about snow, snowmen and winter. They did a great job and most remembered capital letters, finger spaces and everyone tried really hard to sit thier letters on the line.

In the afternoon we watched a science video clip all about melting ice. There was of discussion about what happens when snow and ice melts and how it can look in different places in the world.

After that we built some snowmen indoors as the ground was very soggy outside. Thank you Mr Currie for bringing us in our snow 👍.

'The Arctic is a very cold place.'

'When lots of ice and snow melts I some places it goes into a sea.'

'When the sun warms up the snow it melts.'

'I saw rivers going through big snow fields where some snow had melted and made a river.'
