This week Primary 1 have been learning about symmetry. They have been creating their own symmetrical pictures, using Lego, stickle bricks, beads, buttons, bottle tops, computer more games andto develop their understanding of what symmetry is. They also explored the outdoors and went on a symmetry hunt.
'The bit into the garden with the plant pot at each side is symmetrical.' Anna
'Symmetry is when it looks the same on both sides of the line. If they don't match then they are not symmetrical.' Ellie-Mae
'Jacob and I made this Lego symmetrical...we found the bits that match then put them on.' Lewis
We were very proud of our pupils achievements this week, great work P1!🤩👍
