Primary 6 did some art today with a focus on springtime flowers.
We started by using our imaginations as to what the flowers would be in. We had some excellent ideas.. a welly boot, top hat, bunny and even a football! These really personalised the pictures for each child.
We then looked at some flowers and tulips and added them into our 'vases'. A lot of time was taken with the details including the stems and leaves.
Oil and chalk pastels were then used for the colouring. We spoke about the different colours we would and wouldn't use.
They worked out great and really brighten our display!
