Every year we present our pre-school children with a new school tie, whichever school they are going to, there will be time to get you these ties so please don't worry.
In the coming weeks there will be activities and information about our children moving into Primary 1, whenever this may be. There will be information about our Primary 6 children who will be allocated as a buddy for you child. Mrs Hutchinson and Miss Dalgliesh will be working closely together with Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Glackin as well as the nursery team.
Transition reports have been written and prepared that will be passed on to the new Primary 1 teacher. Unfortunately, I am not in a position now to confirm staffing for next session. As soon as I can, this will be shared with parents and carers.
Nursery staff will be supporting children through learning journals and there will be transition activities as well as advice posted in the coming weeks.
It is an uncertain time and until there is guidance from the Scottish Government alongside South Lanarkshire Council, understandably, we have more questions than answers. Please be reassured that we have an incredibly skilled staff team who will support you and your child every step of the way.
