Primary 1 have started this week with a bang!
In literacy we learned our new sound g and focused on how we write g and thought of things that start with g. We were able to say 3 colours that start with g, green, gold and grey.
We read the book Picnic Time and discussed how the characters were feeling. We compared the different feeling from the start of the story to the end. Chip was sad at the end as it started raining and his sandwich got soggy.
In our numeracy we are learning to add two numbers together. Today we used cubes to help us and Mrs Roberts was super impressed. I wonder if we can keep up all this hard work every day, Mrs Roberts thinks that we definitely can.
