This week, Primary 2 have been learning about data collection and sharing information using tally marks and bar graphs. After reading 'A Squash and a Squeeze', we used our favourite characters to create a whole class bar graph. Then, we used the compare bears with our partners to complete our very own tally marks and bar graphs. Fantastic learning, everyone!

Brogan - 'When you have five tally marks, you make a gate!'
Harper - 'That means two gates makes ten.'
Reuben - 'I can see straight away that the pig was P2's favourite character!'
Amber - 'Two more people picked the goat than the old lady'
Grace - 'The graph starts at zero so you can see when something has had no votes.'
